More Neurotic Than 91% of the Population

Heh. This is about 95% accurate. The detailed report was scarily accurate.

My Personality
Neuroticism
91
Extraversion
2
Openness To Experience
37
Agreeableness
50
Conscientiousness
83
You often resist any cravings or urges that you have, but sometimes you give in, however you experience panic, confusion, and helplessness when under pressure or stress. You get overwhelmed by too much noise and commotion and do not like thrill-seeking activities. You prefer dealing with either people or things rather than ideas. You regard intellectual exercises as a waste of your time. You do not like to claim that you are better than other people, and generally shy from talking yourself up, however you do not enjoy confrontation, but you will stand up for yourself or push your point if you feel it is important. You are well-organized and like to live according to routines and schedules. Often you will keep lists and make plans.

7 Random Things

I was tagged by March

1. I'm with March on hockey being the best sport to watch (hell, it's the only sport I care to watch), but tennis is my favorite to play, even though I suck.
2. I have an ugly scar on my left index finger. When I worked in food service I was holding a bagel in my left hand as I was cutting it (don't ever do that) and sliced right through my finger. I did the exact same thing the next day. There are lab rats smarter than I am.
3. "Six Feet Under" might be my new favorite TV show (besides the Simpsons which has supreme, never-ending #1 privileges). I don't know if I'd put it ahead of the UK Office of season 1 of the US Office, but it's definitely better than seasons 2 or 3.
4. I don't like beer. I've tried to like it, but I just don't. It tastes like piss. Give me liquor or wine.
5. I hate bacon and sausage. I can eat bacon in broccoli salad for some reason, but other than that, I won't touch them. The smell of them cooking makes me nauseous and I can't even look at sausage without feeling like I'm going to hurl.
6. I'm really good at holding prestigious titles without doing any work. I was a section editor in the high school yearbook and was vice president and president of the national Spanish honor society in college. I spent about 3 hours tops doing work for all these posts combined.
7. I'm scared of bumper cars. I'll ride the tallest and fastest roller coasters, but bumper cars freak me the hell out.

I've Been Tagged

Dim tagged me, so I have to try to think of 5 interesting things about myself.

I have a knack for memorizing songs. I can hear a song that I haven't heard in a decade and still remember every lyric perfectly. Unfortunately, my knowledge of song lyrics has taken over some brain space that would better be spent storing useful information.

I am EXTREMELY neurotic. Everything must be in its place at all times or I freak out. If there were a fire at my house I would probably take the time to straighten everything up before escaping. This trait did not serve me well when I did in-home work and had to go into cockroach-infested, piss-smelling homes. I get this trait honestly, as both of my parents are this way; my mom moreso than my dad. I would lick the floor in my mom's house and think nothing of it. I'm also a germophobe, but only about other people's germs. I know where my hands have been. Other people, not so much. I obsessively use hand sanitizer at work and won't even turn off the light in the bathroom there without using a paper towel.

A bunch of people are talking about how they met their significant others. I met Chris while working at the hospital in the dietary department. How glamorous, right? I was a freshman in college. One of my first memories I have with him is when we were sitting in the cafeteria eating lunch and one of the cooks sat down and said, "Do you know why they call it bacon? Because it has fat in it." You commonly hear gems of wisdom like these at Memorial Hospital dietary. We never really talked much until he got his eyebrow pierced and he got fired because he refused to take it out. I went over to his place, got him drunk, and took advantage of him. We both still have an intense urge to push a food cart down the stairwell.

My digestive system is FUBAR. I have, or have had at some point in my life, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, and something else that's a little um...personal.

I've been best friends with Rusty since 1st grade (about 20 years). We lived a mile apart for about 17 of those years and 15 minutes apart for the rest of the time till she moved to North Carolina. We also lived together all 4 years in college. We've had so many insane things happen to us that we were able to fill up pages upon pages in our yearbooks chronicling those things. I don't think there's anything we don't know about each other.
