A Walk Down Memory Lane

Stealing (although she invited us to do it) from StickyKeys' LJ. Apparently we were born and graduated in the same year! If you go to Music Outfitters and enter a date in the search field, the first link is of the top 100 songs from that year. I'm going to split this up into 2 posts because it's so long. I know no one cares, but I love looking at songs from different years and remembering what I was going at the time.

Here's the key:
Bold: Songs I know, but have no opinion about
Bold Italics: Songs I like
Nothing: Songs I don't know
If it's a song I dont' like, it will be noted.
*I'm sure I know some of these songs but don't realize it.

1981
1. Bette Davis Eyes, Kim Carnes (don't like)

I used to rock out to Bette Davis eyes in high school and I LOVE Jessie's girl (which is frequently played at every frat band party I've ever attended here for some reason). All of the ones you don't know I don't think I know either.

I think the thing that bothers me about Bette Davis Eyes is Kim Carnes's voice. I also think Bette Davis is ugly, which doesn't help matters!
