Love Songs
It looks like, against my better judgment, I'm going to the American Idol concert with Rusty. I said I wouldn't go any farther than Hershey, and it's coming there July 12. I should have said I wouldn't go any farther than my backyard :).
Tonight was very awkward all around! You could cut the tension with a knife. And I freaking loved it! I'm glad Ace wasn't there because I feel like that David dude would have ripped him a new one.
Katharine - I thought she was pitchy. Ambitious song choice. I still say she thinks she's better than she is.
Elliott - He sounded great, but that was a very boring song (isn't that pretty much the same thing I say about him every week?).
Kellie - That was absolutely horrific. Who likes this girl?! And don't bother to dress up or anything, geez.
Paris - She's really good and she doesn't annoy me as much as she used to.
Taylor - That was as horrific as Kellie. I can't stand this guy.
Chris - I hate that song with the fire of 1,000 suns. I thought he was ok, but I think it's just because I have a soft spot in my heart for him now that we locked doors together.
WTF was up with the massive number of Z-list celebrities in the audience this week?
I think Katharine is leaving.

I thought Katharine was WAY better than the judges did. I think she sang the song very well (not outstanding), but I think they felt the need to knock her down a few pegs. And that dress was just ridiculous!! I can't believe I don't have TiVo or DVR. There better be some still shots of that tomorrow somewhere!
Elliott - I agree with you. I thought he was great, but wasn't crazy about the song. He's the best male singer left, though.
Kellie - Just awful. And I think she does have a boyfriend. How else can she explain her Cameron Diaz in There's Something About Mary hairdo? She's been below mediocre for a few weeks now.
Paris - Man, I hate that song. And she looked constipated while she was singing it. She was an early favorite of mine, but that's starting to change. We're opposites, JG!
Taylor - Not good, but not nearly as bad as Kellie.
Chris - HA! I agree with your assessment of that song. Love song? Bryan Adams? Meh. He sang it well, though.
How drunk was Paula?
HAHA at the Z-listers! Kevin Nealon?! Who's on next week? Jackie Mason and the zoo guy from the Tonight Show?
OK, my bottom three are: Kellie, Taylor, and Paris. With Kellie FINALLY going home. If Katherine goes home, I again quote Al Pacino in ...And Justice For All: "Something reeeeallly wrong is going on here!"

I agree with Jenny's ideas, mainly because I was there with her to formulate them. I refuse to think any thoughts other than that Kellie is going home, even though I'm pretty sure I won't be put out of my misery yet. I said the EXACT same thing about her hairdo last night.
I'm pretty sure the audience got a crotch view from Katharine last night. She really did need to be brought down a few, though. I think she has a good voice, but I don't like HER.
I loves me some Elliott. I know he won't win, but I'm not ready for him to leave yet.
Paula is a freak. She's so drunk it's unbelievable. "Love you love you love you love you love you LOVE YOU!" Wow. Thanks for the constructive compliment, Paula.
Yeah, you and Rusty were totally on the same page with Kellie's hair! I don't know if she has an official boyfriend, but I'm sure she has something if the way she likes to go down on her knees is any indication.
Paula makes a spectacle of herself every week. They played a clip of her crying after Elliott on the radio. She needs help. I saw the Kellie doll thing from your comment on Rusty's blog. I was playing it and Chris said, "Turn that shit down, it's annoying," and he doesn't even have the foggiest who Kellie Pickler is.

Here's my take:
Katharine- Sang ok. Just ok. Looked smokin' but I think it would have been sexier if the dress had more coverage on the top and if the slit wasn't soooo long. It did seem a little tight on the sides too.
Elliot-Great voice last night, but that song was "the never ending song."
Kellie-Bad. Man, she just needs to stick to country songs, and just the fun ones, nothing serious.
Paris- I just think she's soooo boring.
Taylor- I liked the song, but he's just ok.
Chris- Am I the only one who likes Bryan Adams? That's not my favorite song of his, but I think he did well with it.
Bottom 3: Kellie, Taylor, Katharine.
Going home: Kellie (however, I think she has a HUGE fan base somewhere and may just squeak by)
