This is the blog of an obsessive-compulsive pop culture addict in her mid 20s with a penchant for gay man music, brain-rotting television shows, and margaritas.
In other news, I love Netflix, but 9 days for a movie to arrive is entirely too long. Note that Futurama was shipped on May 31. It arrived yesterday. Before that, the longest it ever took a movie to arrive was 2 days. WTF, Netflix?
You should. And if it becomes a habit, they'll be hearing about it. I thought I was going crazy because I didn't have a 3rd disc at home and I couldn't remember when I mailed it.
check where the retun has to go for furturama. What I mean is I was getting the Spiderman 1967 cartoons..and DVD 2 was to go bacl to New York and DVD 3 was to go back to Lousiana! Sometimes that just happens where they can track the dvds down. 9 days is long I agree. Normally my stuff goes within State..but sometimes on ther older dvds and dvds w/many dvds in a series you send em back all over the place.
It was from Richmond, VA. I could see that taking 2 days, but there's no way it should have been 9. Our stuff goes to Harrisburg, which is 30 miles away, and it usually takes 1 day, except one time it went somewhere in Maryland. Lousiana is far! I guess because it was obscure.
I have yet to make the switch to online movie renting, and your experience reaffirms my nervousness to do so. I can rent movies for a buck right down the street. Hard to pass that up.
That's the first time I've had a major problem with Netflix in about 2 years. I've gotten 2 movies that were unplayable, but that's pretty much it. If I could rent a movie for $1 I'd probably do that too, but Netflix has a library that no brick and mortar store could possibly match. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for reminding me I need to get back on Netflix! 9 days is too long, let's hope it doesn't become a habit.
