TV Musings
I didn't really care much for The Office again last night. I don't think I'm going to risk getting in trouble for leaving work early on Thursday nights anymore. I was trying to be home by 8:30 in case my VCR got screwed up but the show hasn't really been worth it yet this season. I do think the drunkenness of Andy and Jim was a set-up for the future merger episodes though. Maybe it'll get better once everyone's back in the same place.
ER was good last night but I heard a nasty rumor that Carter is going to be on 4 episodes this season. Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! WTF?! The show is called ER, not John Carter. I would be in favor of having another helicopter accident if it killed Carter.

i dvr'd the office and earl last night so I can't comment.
ER is getting better..but I am SOO waiting for it to piss me off (here comes Carter??!?!WTF??!) I had not heard that. The previews for next week look interesting w/the continuation of Forrest Wittaker(sp?)

Oh god, not the return of John Carter! He was a big reason I stopped watching the show a while ago. His constant trotting off to Africa like he was just going to the corner for coffee just pissed me off. Maybe it's me. Maybe they just don't want me to watch anymore.
I thought The Office was pretty good actually. I think what piqued my interest more in last night's show was that I heard an interview on NPR with the Indian girl (who I think is a writer, too?) and another writer, or somebody. The parents in the show were really her parents in real life. They played some clips from the show on the radio yesterday....so, that helped.
But, I'm starting to confuse episodes as I just downloaded the season finale last season (Casino night?) on my iPod---WHAT IS WRONG WITH PAM? Is it that she hasn't told Jim she's no longer engaged? What am I missing?
The office is a pretty good show but I agree this season hasn't been all that great. The rip off of the Hanukah song was good at the end though. Great blog by the way. I am a friend of Annoyed and have just started my own. Come check it out sometime.

March: I didn't see the preview for next week's, but it sounds like Forrest is a stalker or something??
Karen: I DESPISE the Africa episodes. Your description of Carter trotting off there made me laugh :)
Noelle: The Indian girl's name is Mindy, and she does write for the show. I think Pam thinks that Jim isn't interested in her. She has pretty low self-esteem. He knows she didn't get married, but he's wary because she rejected him twice already.
A.S.S: Welcome! Any friend of Annoyed's is a friend of mine. I liked the Diwali song too. It was one of the only times I chuckled.
Hee! I love you for saying that... Ah, what a different show it would have been if they'd only squashed Carter instead...
I wouldn't mind having Carter on every week if they killed him off each time.
Heh, John "Kenny" Carter. Oh yeah, I'd so watch that every week for sure.
