Centralia
It was a boring day today, so I was reading about Centralia. I actually wouldn't mind going to check it out; it's only about 2 hours away from here. Stuff like that creeps me out, and I love being creeped out. Here is a site with a lot of links of pictures and information. I'm thinking I might need to take a road trip sometime soon.

I always thought it would creep me out, too. There are apparently like 3 people who still live there, and that's all that's left. Hmm...
Of course I was going to ask. Who else would appreciate driving 2 hours just to look at an abandoned town with smoke coming out of the ground? In 2004 there were 18 people living there in 9 houses. Only 1 household has children under 18. Half of them are married couples, 1 is a single woman, 3 are non-families, and 3 are individuals.
