Dirty Pennsylvanians
Some names of towns in Pennslyvania in my area: Intercourse, Blue Ball, Bird-in-Hand, Paxtang (not dirty, but it sounds like it!), Gap, Mount Joy
Out of my area: Red Hot, Top, Woodcock, Clappville, Bear Lick, Beavertown, Beaver Mills, Beaver Meadows (what's with the beavers?)
No, I'm not 12...why do you ask?

I taught a class a few years ago with two boys whose last names were Mycock and Dick, and a girl whose last name--Monty--was funny thrown in with the others.
It was tough not to giggle when I first called the roll--I only used first names after that.
Legal name changes should be in order; either that or large therapy bills.
Don't forget the lovely town of Climax, Georgia! ;)
